In Search of a Brother

[Kalinor Cindrius]

(On a calm starry night, the moon had shined a beautiful sapphire blue. The moon was at its fullest and shined in devine glory as the stars around it twinkled. The seas bellow the glorious sapphire moon were calm and warm. There was but one ship on the seas under the sapphire moon. This ship was known as the Sleeping Hermana. The ship was magnificent in every way. No one was around to behold that ship with their own eyes, or so it seemed. There had been but one living creature beholding this ship. Eyes of ruby red had shined from beneath the waters of the sea looking toward the Sleeping Hermana. Suddenly, a small vortex had formed as a man in a black cape raised from its center. He stood taller than most men. His hair was long and pure black. His skin was pale and his physique was built to perfection. This mysterious stranger had walked upon the water and approached the ship.)

[Captain Jade Sparrow]

"The water! Look!" Several men were seen hovering their arms over the edge of the ship. Some pointed toward what they saw.
"A man! It's a man!" More and more of them began to pile on, pushing each other to catch a view.
"He's coming towards the ship!"
"What is he?!"
"Normal people cannot walk on these kinds of waters!"
"What does he want?!"
"Somebody get the Captain!"

One small person ran downstairs to the cabin. Out he came, an uninterested looking woman following behind him.

"Alright alright..." Said the lady with a bored tone of voice. "What is all of this commotion about...?"

"Over there, Captain!" The small sailor rushed through the group of gawking people, who instantly made way for their Captain.

"Ah..." She said once she looked past the edge of the ship. Slowly, a faint grin curved upon her lips. "Interesting."

[Kalinor Cindrius]

(The man had gotten closer to the Sleeping Hermana with every step. Suddenly, the water beneath the mysterious stranger had began to rise like a pillar beneath the man. The ruby eyed man had remained at the top of the water pillar. Some of the water had expanded forward toward the ship. Walking forward on the water that expanded from the pillar, the man in the black cloak had frozen the water he walked on with every step.Eventually, the man had stopped just a few feet away from the hull of the ship. Standing on ice, he looked toward the young captain. His eyes had slightly glowed. In a deep voice he spoke to her.)

"What you seek is both far away, and yet very near."

[Captain Jade Sparrow]

"Far and near aye?" Said the Sleeping Hermana's female captain. She made a quick tilt of her red bandana'd head and blinked once.

"You cannot trust this man, Captain!" Said one of her crew members. "We have never seen him before, and he seems very stra---"

"An angel sent to me so that I may say good bye to my 17 or so years of searching and finding nothing." the Captain interrupted. Her arms expressed joy as if she was happy about this meeting, though her face didn't nearly match her movement as much. Everyone stared at her in bewilderment. But she went on. "Go on, stranger of the Sea. Say more."

[Kalinor Cindrius]

(The man had his reby red glowing eyes fixed on the young female captain's eyes.)

"You seek one much like yourself. Your cries of pain and desire to meet him have echoed farther than you think. And being as I am pledged to help those in need, I thought I would provide you with some information on 'him.'"

(After he had said these words to the young Captain, he had smiled in a friendly manner toward her.)

[Captain Jade Sparrow]

"Him?" A crew member looked at his Captain. "Is he speaking of your brother?"

"Well for starters..." She seemed to ignore the crew member and continued to speak with the radiant eyed man. "Do you know his name? Because I don't."

[Kalinor Cindrius]

(The Mysterious Stranger had chuckled a bit.)

"You don't know the name of the one you seek?"

(After he had chuckled a bit, he had settled down.)

"Have you ever heard of a man named Captain Jack Sparrow? He and you have the same blood... I can see it..."

[Captain Jade Sparrow]

"Captain Jack Sparrow..." She went quiet for a moment. Her eyes darted around as she was obviously in deep thought for a moment. "Interesting." She finally broke her own silence. "Both of us are Sparrows, and our first names are the same. That does it. Come aboard the ship! I'll treat you to my finest rum."

"C-Captain!" The others protested as she gestured for the stranger to come along and she was going back toward the cabin. "You're letting him onto the ship?!"

"Come now," she replied to them while still walking. "Remember who saved you from that bloody island. Never question Captain Jade Sparrow."

[Kalinor Cindrius]

(The mysterious stranger had bowed politely to the young captain. He had then levitated toward the ship. The pillar of water had then sunk back into the sea and the ice along with it. Gently setting foot on the deck of the ship, he had followed Jade to the cabin.)

[Captain Jade Sparrow]

The crew members backed away from him, going to each sides of the ship. They were all quiet and stared at him until he made it to the cabin. Amusingly on the contrast, their captain trusted him like he was a friend of hers. That had to confuse them even more. Jade led him inside the cabin, where it was already lit by candles and fire lamps. She sat down at the largest table, where three glass bottles of rum were already opened.

"This is what I was doing before your debut into my life." She told him before grabbing a bottle and drinking from it. "Have what you want, but spare a few gallons. I am sure there is much I can learn from you. Like your name, for starters."

[Kalinor Cindrius]

(The Stranger had poured himself a cup of rum. Afterwards, he had put the cork back in the bottle and had a seat across from Jade. After setting his cup of rum on the table, he looked Jade in her face.)

"I am Kalinor Cindrius. It is a pleasure to meet you, Captain."

(As he had introduce himself to Captain Jade Sparrow, he smiled politely. If she had noticed, his fangs were as white as pearl.)

[Captain Jade Sparrow]

"Kalinor Cindrius. From the legends. I knew you were real, but no one believed me when I told them that. Said I was high on rum. I can't wait until my crew learns your name."

Jade took a few more gulps from her large bottle and bluntly set it back down on the table. After that, she sat back and postured herself carelessly.

"So my brother's name is Jack. He is who I am searching for, and he his my sibling. He is far yet near. Anything else you know about me or my family?"

[Kalinor Cindrius]

(Kalinor had taken a sip of rum as she had spoken to him. He wasn't surprised that her crew didn't think he existed. What he did to save the universe was hundreds of thousands years ago. Therefore, many believed his journeys and efforts to be but a legend.)

"Your brother is one of the Pirate Lords. He is currently searching for something known as the Fountain of Youth. He wants to live forever and sail the seas for all eternity. Unfortunately, he has not a ship nor a crew."

[Captain Jade Sparrow]

"A pirate lord without a ship or crew? Tragic... Juan Ponce de León's Fountain of Youth, said to be in a land somewhere called Florida... Could that be the same one he is after? I remember hearing how people felt scammed after reaching the end of their journey there. But, nonetheless I would want to sail these lovely waters til no end too. After I find him, that will be the next thing I seek myself. So, Cindrius, is there anything else you appeared out of the Sea for other than to give me this valuable information?"

[Kalinor Cindrius]

"Yes. That would be the same fountain of Youth he is after. And yes, I have come to you not only to give information, but I have also come to offer my services to you as but a humble member of your crew."

(Kalinor had smiled politely to the young Captain.)
