A Bad Omen

[Justice]

(On the night of a crimson moon, the wind was cold as it blew through the trees and brushed against the grass. The sounds of owls hooting echoed through the night air. In the sky there was bats flying under the twinkling stars. In the deep forest, there was a being of otherworldly features. He was pale as a corpse and was tall with the face of heaven on the body of a god. His outfit was stylish as he was garbed in a stylish robe with bondage gear along his body. He had wandered through the deepest parts of the forest.)

[Captain Jade Sparrow]

"Tonight is rather ugly."
"You're right. Red skies are never beautiful."

Two friends, or two siblings? We didn't know yet. But their footsteps grew closer and closer. After one answered the other, they both sighed.

"Who is that?" Said the younger sounding voice as they both stopped. "Do you see what I see?"
"Yes." Said the other. "Too large to be a Dollfie. I wonder if it is anything like one of those humans..."

They were hidden behind a pair of trees, staring at the forest's visitor. Whether to trust him or not was an unsure thing.

[Kalinor Cindrius]

(The pale skinned being had pulled a harp out of his black robe. He stood in the deep deep regions of the forest that had glowed crimson from the red moon above. The mysterious man's eyes had glowed brighter as the moon's red rays shined upon them. A smile came over his face as his ivory white fangs had shown. He then gently stroked the strings of the harp as he had looked to the crimson moon.)

[Captain Jade Sparrow]

"Hey!"

There was some hasty stirring among the grass and leaves. Whoever was watching him did not leave him alone. Next came the sound of a metal chain-like object. It slashed through several leaves, it's whistling whip sound going straight toward the harp player.

"Ducan! Wait!" Cried the smaller voice.

Round and round the chain went, wrapping around the harp player's upper arm from behind. No damage was done, however. It was more likely to get his attention.

[Kalinor Cindrius]

(The harp player dropped his harp. He felt the chain wrap around his arm. He grabbed hold of the chain and spun his body around. This was intended to spin around the end of the chain opposite of the end of his arm. His strength was far greater than any human's. Thus the other end of the chain would be flung around with great speed if nothing was done to avoid this.)

By doing that, he only pulled the person in possession of the chain closer to him. Stumbling toward him was a potentially familiar individual. Trying to keep up behind him was the carrier of the young voice. The both of them stopped, meeting eye to eye with the visitor. Two dolls, the taller one having black hair with a gold trim, and the other had a white head of hair that was shaped into a feline's head. The two stood there, not saying a word.

[Kalinor Cindrius]

(The ruby eyed man stood towering over the dolls. His shadow had cover the two of them. He recognized the two of them. He had met these two dolls a while back. When he saw the two of them, he new they were not hostile. In a deep and calm voice, the black robed man spoke.)

"Ducan... Si.. It is good to see you again."

[Captain Jade Sparrow]

"Oh... It's only you." Ducan said lowly as he retracted his chain.

"Please forgive Ducan for attacking you!" said Si, quickly bowing his head and back up. "He is not very fond of outsiders, and people who are not Dollfies for that matter."

[Kalinor Cindrius]

"I see. Well for the record, I am not human."

(The black robed man had turned his back toward the two. He looked up to the crimson red moon.)

"It has been quite a while. How have the two of you been?"

[Captain Jade Sparrow]

"We know you are not human." Said another voice that came from up in the trees. Another Dollfie hopped down and landed before the others. He was of a tanner shade, with long flowing white hair and elven ears. "Or at least I know that much. A demon and angel mixture, and also the god of justice and death. Did the priests send you in here to bring death upon us?"

[Kalinor Cindrius]

"If I was here to bring death upon your kind, you all would have been dead by now. Thus I would have no need to be in your forest. But you should know that I only take the lives of those who occupy themselves with evil and those who have reached their scheduled time to die."

(The man in black clothing had turned to face the three dolls before him.)

[Captain Jade Sparrow]

The third Dollfie crossed his arms and looked defiantly at the man.

"This place is our refuge, our world. I kindly ask this of you. Will you leave this forest and never come back?"

"Guang! Don't say that!" Si interrupted. "He is our friend that we met a long time ago. He just hasn't been here in a while."

"You are friends with the death god?" Guang looked over at Si. "As Dollfies, we are not to mingle people other than each other."

"But..." Si frowned. "I don't see why. I wasn't always a Dollfie. I guess that's why only I would understand."

"Hmph."

[Kalinor Cindrius]

"I obey no man nor doll. I do what I see fit. I go where I want."

(As Kalinor said this, he returned Guang's defiant look with a cold glare of his own.)

[Captain Jade Sparrow]

"Tch. You look at me the same way those city humans do." Guang said.

"He won't harm us." Said Si. "Come, Kalinor!" He went off past a few other trees.

[Kalinor Cindrius]

"And I can see why. You are just as arrogant and stuck up as as them."

(Kalinor had then turned his attention away from Guang. He had already come to dislike this rude Dolfe. Was he really so different than the humans he speaks of? For the moment being, he followed Si.)
